PaintNuts Home — UPVC Paint
Listing build, SEO, colour swatches and A+ Content created as part of the Home marketplace expansion.
VIEW LIVE AMAZON LISTING↗PaintNuts was not a conventional listing project. The work involved rebuilding an existing Amazon presence, creating an enormous colour-led catalogue, launching new divisions and turning complex product data into a commercially usable marketplace operation.
When the collaboration began, Motornuts owned PNT Paints and operated PaintNuts Car Touch Ups. During the engagement the wider proposition expanded again, with PaintNuts Home and PaintNuts Bodyshop added as new divisions.
PNT Paints was already on Amazon, but the catalogue was effectively dormant: weak ASIN relationships, disconnected colours and no marketplace structure that reflected the breadth of what the business could actually manufacture and sell.
The first priority was foundational: build the catalogue correctly before trying to scale demand.
The Amazon work sat inside a broader commercial transition. Existing PNT products had to become part of a more structured PaintNuts marketplace system while entirely new Home and Bodyshop propositions were being created around them.
Built the touch-up pen catalogue so matched colours could be found and bought individually on Amazon.
Created individual colour products alongside primer bundles, lacquer bundles and complete primer + colour + lacquer combinations.
Extended the catalogue logic across spray-paint formats rather than limiting the range to touch-up pens.
Built the customer-facing marketplace presentation around the catalogue, not just the underlying product data.
Catalogue quality became a measurable workstream from the beginning and ultimately rose to 93.
Thousands of colour and format combinations could not be created efficiently one listing at a time. The work required repeatable data, image-production and catalogue systems.
Large spreadsheets structured and managed catalogue data across colours, formats, bundles and product combinations.
Repeatable scripts and workflows generated RAL and automotive imagery at the volume required.
Colour swatches improved the customer experience around products where exact colour choice was central to purchase.
Relationships and catalogue structure turned disconnected products into a more navigable marketplace system.
PaintNuts Home launched during the engagement. The work covered category creation, RAL implementation, swatches, SEO, listing structure and A+ Content across the catalogue.
The UPVC example below is one of the listings built as part of that work. It went on to generate very substantial sales volume and has received Amazon's Choice recognition on multiple occasions.
