CASE STUDY / AMAZON + EBAY

Growth by removing complexity.

Amazon consolidation, fulfilment routing, eBay growth and Leagrams content optimisation.

THE SITUATION

What was really happening.

Amazon had been split across two accounts because lighter products used Evri while products above 15kg required DPD. That solved a courier issue but fragmented reviews, sales history and keyword authority, while the same brand could effectively compete against itself.

WORK COMPLETED

What actually changed.

01

Consolidated Amazon

Brought catalogue activity together so reviews, sales history and authority could work in one place.

02

Solved heavy-order routing

Used an API-led rule to route orders above 15kg to DPD while lighter orders remained within Amazon Shipping.

03

Improved Leagrams content

Reworked A+ content, imagery, keywords and titles.

04

Optimised eBay ads

Tested promoted activity, off-site campaigns and keyword approaches.

05

Improved category position

Supported the Leagrams range as it moved from around #8 to top two in bird food.

06

Removed internal competition

Eliminated the unnecessary marketplace split.

THE OUTCOME

What moved.

Combined Amazon sales increased by roughly 67% from the starting daily level with advertising around 15x ROAS. On eBay, daily sales increased roughly four times while ROAS improved from around 6x to 26x.
